Drip Irrigation Online Class

The Mojave Water Agency, in partnership with the Mojave Desert Resource Conservation District and the Alliance for Water Awareness and Conservation (AWAC), will be offering a FREE online course on how to design a drip irrigation system for your home garden. The online course takes place via Zoom on Tuesday, January 9 at 6PM.

This is a two-part course:

-Explore the time and water saving benefits of drip irrigation
-Identify the different types and applications of drip irrigation that will work for your landscape project
-Learn steps on calculating pressure vs. gravity variances for proper water flow, along with understanding back-flow devices and pressure gauges
-Recognize the impacts of heavy grading on soil and water conservation
-Map and design your irrigation project with other helpful tips shared in this course
-Obtain resources for efficient do-it-yourself drip irrigation installation
