Why Save Water?

Conservation

The High Desert is a naturally arid environment where limited rainfall and snowmelt create a limited natural supply of water.  The more of our natural supply that we save underground, the more water we will have when we enter another drought season - and California will see another drought in our lifetimes!

Alliance for Water Awareness and Conservation - AWAC

MWA is in partnership with a coalition of local agencies committed to achieving water conservation goals within the region. Their mission is to promote efficient use of water and increase awareness of conservation through leadership, education, resources, support, ideas and solutions.   Please visit the AWAC site to learn more.
